Our Commitment

Children and youth represent not only our future, but the present as well. We are committed to living before our children and youth the Gospel of Jesus Christ in both word and deed and walking with them in the way of Jesus. Opportunities to learn, serve, and experience community are the foundation for Little Sheep (our ministry with infants and toddlers), Faith Factor (our ministry with children), Backstage (our ministry with middle school students), and Faith High (our ministry with high school students).

Faith at Home is a collaborative initiative between our Little Sheep, Faith Factor, Backstage, and Faith High ministries. Faith at Home is grounded in the belief that a community of faith is called to come alongside families to encourage, support, and empower them in their role as primary spiritual caregivers for their children. A vital part of the Faith at Home initiative at CCCSH is the “Take It Home” event. These are parent-child interactive workshops designed to share age appropriate spiritual practices with families and equip them to incorporate the practices into their everyday lives. The goal of these events is to equip the home to be the primary place where faith is nurtured. These events take place during the worship gatherings on Sunday mornings. Each student attends one event with his/her parents each school year.
