Faith Factor

Faith Factor is the children’s ministry of CCCSH. Children ages Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade come together on Sunday mornings to learn the teachings of Jesus Christ through dynamic Bible instruction. The children are shown the love of Jesus and are nurtured as they begin and grow in their faith.

Components

In Faith Factor we follow a Large Group/Small Group format that allows the Right people to serve in the Right roles so that children experience the living Word of God in a way they’ll never forget.

Large Group Instruction: Teaching ALL kids in a Large Group setting allows teachers who are gifted communicators to put their energy and focus into teaching the Bible creatively – preparing and presenting a dramatic, engaging, memorable lesson – complete with props, sound effects, scenery and more!

Small Group Shepherding: Splitting children into age appropriate Small Groups allows for intentional shepherding of children as they grow in their faith. Small group shepherds take the Bible lessons and make them practical and personal for the kids they’ve invested themselves in.

Fellowship & Service: Children are encouraged to connect with God through weekly Bible verses, with one another through the sharing of prayer requests & praises, and with the world through collecting food for Shepherd’s Heart.

Curriculum

In Faith Factor we utilize the Promiseland curriculum from Willow Creek Church. This dynamic, interactive teaching allows us to present Bible teachings in a way that makes our children want to know more about Jesus. Our goal is to walk beside them as they make the choice to ask God to be their “Forever Friend”. Faith Factor leaders are adults within our community of faith who have committed their lives to Jesus Christ and His teachings and have chosen to serve Him by serving our children.
